Due to network migration, all DOT will move 1:1, while deposits and withdrawals via the old Relay Chain will be closed and replaced with new addresses.
Polkadot has announced a technical upgrade: the DOT token is moving from the main Relay Chain to a new system network called Polkadot Asset Hub. This is an infrastructure change on the network side — your balance remains intact, and the migration will be handled at protocol and platform level.
You do not need to take any manual action to move your DOT. The migration is handled by the network and supported on our side. Your DOT balance on EXMO will stay safe and will be reflected according to the new network setup.
⚠️However, it is very important that you do not use old Relay Chain addresses once the upgrade process is underway.
What you need to do:
▪️Do not send DOT to old Relay Chain deposit addresses. After deposits are closed for the legacy network, transfers to those addresses may not be credited.
▪️Wait for our next update with confirmation that DOT deposits and withdrawals are available again on Polkadot Asset Hub with your new DOT deposit addresses.
We will publish all further changes and exact timings on our official channels. If you have any questions, our support team is ready to help.
